Our founder, Peter Lehmann, created Portrait wines to ‘paint a picture’ of our home in the iconic Barossa. Today, Portrait is a series of wines crafted to express the wonderful and diverse landscapes of South Australia’s wine regions. Keeping to our house style, the wines express the unique characteristics of their origin and are made to be vibrant and approachable.

WINE MAKERS NOTES

The Chardonnay has a brilliant pale straw hue, the nose has lifted peach and nectarine balanced by subtle toasty char and spice from oak fermentation and maturation. The palate has a rich and creamy texture with flavours of freshly picked white nectarine, rockmelon and hints of lemon citrus finishing with a crisp, dry and lingering acidity balanced with a touch of toasty oak complexity.
