Crafted by the next generation of Peter Lehmann winemakers, THE Barossan showcases the superb fruit sourced from the many fabled sub-regions across the Barossa Valley. A selection of the Barossa’s key growers, renowned for their quality and skill, have shared their passion and pristine fruit to create this quintessential Barossa Valley Shiraz. Each parcel speaks to its vineyard origins, sharing a special and unique aspect of the sub-region.
WINE MAKERS NOTES
Our winemakers have identified varying expressions of this classic varietal to blend together seamlessly, delivering a complex and layered wine with fruit intensity and suppleness. Aromas of lifted satsuma plums, raspberry, violet flower, blueberry, mocha spice and a hint of lightly charred oak. Leading to an abundant palate with pretty, bright and vibrant blue fruits, a rich middle palate with plum and dark cherry. Long fine and silky tannin structure throughout gives an excellent backbone. Firm yet plush tannins support the finish of earthy blackberry and black olive, balanced and fresh. This Shiraz is juicy and luscious from start to finish.
